That's my issue, cups is supposed to handle this stuff, the salvation for us all, the last word in linux printing, can I get an Amen? Nothing else should be involved with printing except cups, with it directing the show for all apps. Period, end of story, the Gawd Almighty Omega that sez "It is finished."
