I have ffmpeg from livna installed, so I tried to remove it in order to install the freshrpms version. However, it said that I would also remove many programs that I need. I know that if necessary I could make a list then reinstall them, but should I force a remove without dependencies? If so, what is the command? I can't find it in the man page. Is it easier to use rpm? Sorry to be a nuisance. Anne
