My first Windows-based PC was *built* by a shop with a fair bit of
history.  Yet it arrived DOA.  I sort of got it working, but threw it
back at them, a couple of times.

Mum bought a pre-built HP (ugh) PC, that was dicey from the word, go.

Many PCs that I've seen have some wierd and stupid behaviour, and
they've been like it from the start, too.  The owner's thought it was
normal, couldn't do anything about it, and/or put up with it.


Windows Vista.  Nice view, pity about the plumbing...
