Keeping in mind I am using a fairly standard single desktop home LAN setup for FC6, in which directory will I want the hplip directory created? Why are you going to Sourceforge? hplip should be included, if not already installed, on your FC6 setup. Do a "rpm -qa | grep hplip" to find out. If it is not installed do "yum install hplip".
