I don't know about a short response to any video questions :-). If you got the drivers via livna rpms (or built fedora rpms from the ati source), the odds are good that the install didn't do everything it should have to really get them installed correctly. Or for the whole story of my fight with ATI drivers (which I finally won) see: http://home.att.net/~Tom.Horsley/easy-linux.html Don't know if your card is supported by the open source radeon driver, but if it is, that might be the way to go, I'm using the open source drivers now after experimenting with both, and they work fine for me (after my struggle :-).
