I think there is a difference of opinion here about how disruptive those changes are... The mailing list has been pretty calm recently but I think every prior release has had outbursts of complaints about previously working hardware breaking from core updates. I realize that these changes have to be tested somewhere and that fedora may be the right place for it to happen, but it is a mistake to think that the distribution is stable enough to depend on for critical work on a large assortment of hardware. -- Les Mikesell lesmikesell@xxxxxxxxx
