OK, thanks for the explanation. These are indeed the issues I have been having: yum or rpm dying with alarming regularity since I installed FC6. Sorry for dissing your package. The yum/rpm problems were driving me crazy and made me a bit irrational. ;) I will reinstall atrpms but temporarily disable the /etc/0check4updates script until this stuff is resolved. -- Colin Brace Amsterdam
