Yeah, it wants the fastest SOB USB port ya have, as it needs it. I
prefer to use the above site's tar file as you can have the tar file
installed somewhere safe, like /opt, and when you update your kernel you
can re-compile it again instead of waiting for someone else to issue a
new rpm release for it... which may or may not work for you and your
particular circumstances. This method works for me. (tm) Ric
