Did it the newbie way found a rpm on pbone.net after googleing ;-)

I had all ready installed that package. It was late last night and was not 
thinking clearly. Not quite sure what directory they are in.

After much tinkering I gave up at about 5am this morning and went to bed, 
thinking a clear head would be more productive. Switched the machine on this 
morning and hey presto the blue light on the us dvb box came on. Fired up 
kaffeine and clicked on the dvb icon at the intro window and it now sees  the 
dvb box. Did a scan and found a long list of channels. Yahoo! Now all I have 
to do is install the missing codacs to view tv and listen to radio. ;-(
