I believe that will take at least another hour at 20+ seconds per dead channel scanned. Longer for a live one... And I'm not sure what I did to their firmware package, but since FC6 doesn't have a /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware dir, I made one, put that tarballs output in it, no good, located 'firmware' and placed copies of those files in every 'firmware' subdir that locate found on the drive FC6 is installed on, so there are about 5 copies scattered to the wind now.
