It'll make, install and set everything up for you, Ric There was another thread on this list relatede to webcams (or maybe it was fedora-devel) that indicated that there was a problem where yum was installing the kernel-devel package that mismatch the installed kernels arch (i.e devel.i586 and a kernel.i386) that was causing this kind of gspca build grief.
