Jeffrey, the colour of the burned disks is not important - it's just the brand of media's choice. What may be important, though, is that it is a DVD+R. Many older drives can read one type, + or -, but not the other. Have you tried burning it to a -R? (I have to admit that I didn't think of that when I had the problem with my old laptop.) I'm sure many people have successfully burned the iso to dvd. I certainly have. Anne
