That's one problem. XDG_CONFIG_DIRS should be getting defined from /etc/kde/env/env.sh (if using FC stock packaging) or /etc/kde/env/xdg-menu.sh (if using kde-redhat packaging). This file is (should be!) owned by kdebase rpm. -- Rex
