You can subscribe an e-mail address to the list, then go to the URL at
the bottom of each list e-mail and turn off delivery for that e-mail
address.
Then you can post *from* it, but receive e-mails some other way. For
example, I don't receive Fedora-List e-mails @aprilcottage.co.uk -- they
come in via Gmail.
