Hi Jeff. I'm not sharing any /home partitions. All the distros have there own /home. It appeared that only Konqueror, and "Home" on the desktop, that also uses Konqueror were affected. This morning I also noticed many missing menu sections in the main menu. I ran Kbuildsycoca (which I couldn't remember the name of last night), and that has fixed the problem. Konqueror now works ok, and the missing menu sections are back. Thanks to you, Rick, and Craig for the suggestions. Nigel.
