I am not sure when things changed but you can set all of the settings byrunning the command:


$ xscreensaver-demo

Ignore (cancel) a warning it gives about not running the screen saver ondisplay 0:0

Integration between the xscreensavers and the kde screensavers does notappear to be complete. This command lets you configure the xscreensaversdirectly.

Is this new for FC6? Because it doesn't work for me on FC5(gnome-screensaver-2.14.3-3.fc5). It seems to be hardwired to use~/Pictures and nothing else.
