I can see one (potential) problem with doing that: If you use local DNS servers to resolve local machine names, only the local one will do that. If your PCs try to use the ISP's DNS servers to resolve a local machine, it'll fail. -- (Currently testing FC5, but still running FC4, if that's important.)
