FC5 rngd does not work

Hi,

after upgrading from kernel-2.6.18-1.2200.fc5 to
kernel-2.6.18-1.2239.fc5 rngd does not work anymore.

Starting rngd: can't open /dev/hw_random: No such device
                                                           [FAILED]

So I googled for the device and found 
mknod -m 666 hw_random c 10 183 
but I got still the same error message.

Anybody an idea?
