No ideas, I'm afraid, but OpenOffice does have some helpful forums. If you

Due to the modifications done my the RH/Fedora team, the OpenOffice.org
forums may just send you back to this list.
Get the original version from OpenOffice .org and use it. I have done
that for ages.
