How would livna setup a driver for the kernel that they haven't built
yet?  Your expectations are ridiculous and you really ought not to be
using updates-testing if you want things to "Just Work(TM)."  Testing
is for people that want to test.  If you use it and you complain here,
you just look like an ass.

I'll bet that your problem wasn't caused by livna, it was caused by
the FC6 anaconda bug that installed an i586 kernel on your system.
This is one of the common bugs for FC6 and has been discussed here
numerous times of the past few weeks.
