The FC version has many changes when compared with the official
openoffice.org, in spite its manual has not been altered to conform to these
changes. I've just been hit with a issue in auto-replace in Writer, and there
was already another feature with Calc that was getting in my way, so I
uninstalled the FC version and installed the one from openoffice.org, which
has solved my problems. I can not deploy a software when its documentation's
directions differ from the implemented behavior. Maybe this was your case...
