Since FC6 only has 5 CD-s asking for 6 CD-s seems strange.

Typo. Sorry. 5 CDs

Did you choose the correct monitor in the system-config-display gui? The
change does not occur until X is restarted.

Yes it had that monitor and VGA right. And I did do a an
Ctrl+Alt+Backspace after.
