Thanks, Tom. The problem happens after having unplugged and plugged
again the pen driver.

Apparently, the problem is isolated: if I remove the pen drive with
the "safe remove" option of KDE, then the reported problem occurs; if
I use 'umount /dev/sda1' instead, no problem occurs. Do others
experience the same?
