That's a great help Paul, thanks! (cURL is now up to v. 7.16 - but not for FC4 as far as I can > tell) There won't be any update to 7.16.0 for Fedora releases 6 or earlier because there has been an ABI change in 7.16.0 and the library version number has been increased. Version 7.15.5 is the last version providing libcurl.so.3, which is required by lots of other packages in Fedora. However, I have packages of 7.16.0 for distributions going back as far as Red Hat Linux 9, and to solve the dependency problem I've made packages of libcurl7155 that provide the libcurl.so.3 to satisfy dependencies in the rest of the distribution. So you can download the FC4 versions of curl and libcurl7155, install them at the same time using rpm and then all should be well. http://www.city-fan.org/ftp/contrib/sysutils/Mirroring/ Paul. -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list -- No virus found in this incoming message.
