I just unarchived it and put into my own personal bin (/home/whatever/bin/firefox) and pointed the link that I had on the panel to point to that version instead. As I am the only one using the machine this works fine for me. I backed up the .mozilla directory prior to doing this so that I could restore things to where they were in case of any problems. Haven't seen any yet... I'll probably do the same on my FC6 box later today. ciao, furlan - -- Music: http://www.myspace.com/acidredux Links: http://del.icio.us/furlan Home: http://flprim.us/index.html "Play--more than piety, more than charity or vigilance--is what allows human beings to transcend evil." - -- Tom Robbins (Jitterbug Perfume) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFShjsbi10WxsICPgRAheBAJ42OArw1INU97n5hv3/FzEhLN78pwCeIYkd wGoMn/3qxx+NjJ0cJzlVQQg= =LSKG -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
