No, it's not that simple. You'd also have to rebuild the manifest file (s).
Use an onsite web, ftp, or NFS server to provide additional packages. I'm guessing since you're PXE booting, you're pulling the installation media via one of the three mentioned services.
You can automate adding the package by add the appropriate rpm command to the postinstall section of a kickstart file, then specifying that file in your PXE setup.
