Yep. I did an upgrade from FC5.
It installed the i586 kernel instead of the i686 kernel, but installed
the i686 kernel headers. I discovered it when trying to build a kernel
module. I had to go to the DVD, find the i686 package, and install it
with --force. Seems fine now.
I saw that too. Very annoying.
Doing an update via yum (I know! But it saves bandwidth...) I got the FC6
SMP kernel headers and no upgrade to the kernel-smp package...so I had to
manually install the kernel i686 RPM...
