Bit of a guess,

Did you also install the latest kernel-smp-devel?  Then, when prompted
for location of the include files, I just hit return and it found them.
I'm running VMWare Workstation 5.5.2....

> kernel-smp-2.6.17-1.2174_FC5
> kernel-smp-2.6.17-1.2187_FC5
> kernel-smp-devel-2.6.17-1.2187_FC5
