Not so strange. We are answering a question involving what
distro to recommend to someone who is a newbie. I don't think
Fedora is the best distro for someone with only casual interest
in the OS itself.

Personally, I would prefer that I hadn't installed Fedora, as it does
not really meet my needs as a user. But I did it because I was on
a programming contract, and that's what my employer at the time
wanted. But it is not the distro I would chose for myself.
