There are moves towards making these RAID arrays visible to Fedora (I can't diagnose why yours wasn't), but what you end up with is Linux software RAID using the disk structures that the BIOS set up -- almost exactly what you've got now, it's just that the BIOS knows about it too. It's arguably better *not* to go with the BIOS-based RAID, and just go for Linux software RAID, simply because then your RAID isn't dependent on the BIOS of the machine in question, and can be moved to a different sort of PC without problems.
