Plug In USB 2.0 CDROM & FC5 wants to Play an audio CD

 Whenever a I connect a USB 2.0 CD-ROM to a USB 2.0 port in FC5 under
Gnome recognizes it, but acts like it is a Audio CD-ROM. Error messages
in the log complain about not being able to read the disc. However the
same disks when plugged into a windows machine recognizes the drive and
CD access to the data CD is normal.
What settings do I need to tweak to get FC5 to properly recognize a CD
in the drive?

TIA
