Thanks for the pointer, Tom. I'll take a look at that but I'm not doing any Multimedia on this box. As I said earlier, I didn't even know sound wasn't working for months because I don't do things like that on this system. The only thing I'd like to know at this point is if the problem is SW or HW related. All the software seems to say that sound is working but nothing comes out.
