nfs-mount with vanilla kernel 2.6.17.7 in FC5

Hi,

I installed in FC5 the vanilla kernel 2.6.17.7 in an NFS client. Having the problem that NFS mount fails:

	mount: unknown filesystem type 'nfs'

I'm sure I compiled the kernel together with all modules correctly, and I found out that the problem is when modprobe tries to load lockd:

	modprobe lockd
	FATAL: Error inserting lockd (/lib/modules/2.6.17.7/kernel/fs/lockd/lockd.ko):
		Cannot allocate memory

Using the FC5 kernel makes no problems, and NFS mount are correctly performed.

Anyone had similar problems?
