Hey guys,

I'm having issues installing the kmod-fglrx driver from livna.

I've also tried the offical binary from ATI and seen similar issues.

With the livna pack the driver does not seem to function at all, it appears to be the default fc5 driver still:

The ATI fglrx panel reports "Driver does not provide the FireGL X11 extensions! Panel components will operate only partially."

With the Official ATI driver it seems to install and the ATI Control panel works, but direct rendering is still disabled, and thus glxgears gives around 170 fps which gets slower over time.

I use the livna ati pack at home with no problems on my x800 but this is driving me mad. Any ideas?

Many thanks,

-Chris
