To me, the problem is that his FC3 wasn't working properly, so he upgraded
(how? yum or installer?) to FC5 hoping that would fix it.  He had a mess,
and tried to fix it by making it more complicated.  Now it is time to
backup data, wipe, and re-install, as Chong Yu Meng said.
