Same error message but a different place now.
# rpm -e --nodeps httpd
# mv /etc/httpd/modules /etc/httpd/modules.old
# yum install httpd

Good morning Eurika now works and HTTPD -t works
Now to start setting up the conf file to my requirements
and check that php and mysql work also
