Is it your router that is giving that address to the client?  If so,
just change the router config, or change the PC to a static address so
it does not change when the dhcp response tells it to.

Yes, I believe it is. How do I chane the PC to a static address? I do
realize that this is a STFW question, but I'm not googleing anything
relevant.
