I seem to have no problems with my Core Duo Intel T2600 (2.16Ghz/

Only problem I have is the sleep function has stopped working, and quiet
option stopped working on this update.

I runs for me too - I have the 'Pentium D' - Intel dual core. the quiet
option no longer works, and my soundcard is not detected though...

The 'quiet' option problem was acknowledged in an earlier thread as a bug in this release (and it affects everyone). Not sure if there's a Bugzilla entry, but the maintainer knows about it.
