If you want to be able to transferee things to/from the HPC, then SynCE will work fine. You can also install/remove software. There is also a plugin for Midnight Commander so that you can access the file system on the PocketPC. If you want to Synchronization between the PDA and Kontact organizer, you may want to take a look at SynCE for KDE. I have used SynCE with an Itronix T5200 running WindCE 2.11 (HPC Pro) and it works for me. I normally do a network connection between them. The serial connection also works, but requires a bit more work to set up. I have not played with SynCE for KDE, so I am not sure how well that works. I also do not use the sync connection to access the Internet, because I already have the network connection. (I normally have a Compaq wireless card in it.) I set this up long enough ago that I do not remember all the details, but I think I had to make a serial connection the first time, and set up a "trust" relationship. I should also add that this is running on a system with Mandriva 2005LE and not FC. I still have to set up the connection to my laptop with FC5 as soon as I get a USB serial or I/R port for it. Two drawbacks, at least with the version of WindowsCE I have. You can only have a "trust" relationship with 2 computers, and a computer that duel boots Windows and Linux uses up both of them.
