able to restore my printers to operation. Gnome

driver list? This seems to be a problem manifest
only in the last couple of months ... In the past
I've been able to set up with CUPS alone.

system-config-printer is quite broken - using the cups web interface
tool for configuration has been more succesful for me (go to
localhost:631 in a web browser).
