I spent about three months away from FC while I was trying out Kubuntu. While I found Kubuntu to be very easy to use, I was constantly running into roadblocks installing software or configuring the system how I like it. So I decided to install FC5 this week. After a long fight with three harddrives, a brand new DVD burner, and faulty internet connection, I almost gave up on even downloading the huge distro that FC is and considered just updating to the newest [k]Ubuntu. But I stuck with it, and I'm glad that I did. I love yum, I love KDE, and I like having the latest stable software. After using KDE 3.5.4 on FC4 going back to 3.5 was like a smack on the back of the neck in Kubuntu.
I would like to go on record as in full agreement. Thank you to the developers of Fedora. It's a wonderful distro. I won't upgrade to FC5 though until the floppy issue is fixed under KDE. FC4 works fine on all my laptops and desktops.
