The problem I've found is that you don't know what chipsets in the card, unless you get it and finds out the revision-level. Its like my D-Link card it used to be a atheros card but they switched to RaLink. These manufacturers seems to change chipsets in a random matter, so one is completely confused and haven't got a clue what one actually is getting. It seems that my local supplier, although the stock some two or three different brands, only have rt61 cards.
