Hi. Can you help me to take a look what is mean by the following sendmail message in Logwatch
showing?? how the sendmail show this message?? how do they key in chenkai1`ms64.hinet.net ? And
also what is the forwarding error message?? I don't have /root/.forward file at all.
Forwarding errors:
    /root/.forward.localhost: Group writable directory: 1 Times(s)
    /root/.forward: Group writable directory: 1 Times(s)

What are the permissions on / and /root ?

# ls -ld / /root
drwxr-xr-x 24 root root 4096 May 23 16:22 /
drwxr-x--- 10 root root 4096 Jun 6 15:26 /root

Looks like sendmail is complaining about at least one of them being too lax (i.e. group-writeable).

Paul.
