Yes, I have a problem to translate Italian.  I'm an American living in
Taiwan...and it is Friday night....  :-)

It is very strange that the message is shown that you need to specify
the file type.

Could you tell me the output of
"file initrd-2.4.22-1.2115.nptlcustom.img"?
