Done in what I think accordance with all instructions.
This is what happens

I type /sbin/insmod rt61.ko
And hit return.
The leds on the card starts flashing, 2 seconds later the screen goes black
and FEDORA Reboots.

This is what I found in /var/messages:

May 19 00:11:55 springbox kernel: rt61: module license 'unspecified' taints
kernel.
May 19 00:11:55 springbox kernel: PCI: Enabling device 0000:03:00.0 (0000 ->
0002)
May 19 00:11:55 springbox kernel: ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:03:00.0[A] ->
Link [C0B9] -> GSI 11 (level, low) -> IRQ 11
May 19 00:11:55 springbox kernel: RT61: Vendor = 0x1814, Product = 0x0302
May 19 00:11:57 springbox kernel: RT61: RfIcType= 3
May 19 00:13:01 springbox syslogd 1.4.1: restart.
May 19 00:13:01 springbox kernel: klogd 1.4.1, log source = /proc/kmsg
started.

Anyone having any ideas what to do?
