1 - did you check the sha1sums after download?
YES
2 - did you run the media check before attempting to install?
YES
3 - did you try burning the installation cd's at a slower speed?
I always burn at half my max burner speed

I also have installed from this set of disks to other computers. I will
burn another set just to be sure.
