The general approach to package building is to follow the steps needed to build the package manually (as described in the software's documentation), and capture those steps in the RPM spec file. If a package doesn't need a configure step, don't try doing it. If it needs some other step(s) doing, do those steps, etc. > Please, notice that the last two links are directed to empty pages.
