real NIC or virtual interfaces - for httpd-Server

Hi,

we run a RHEL4 Webserver with moderate access (aprox. 6 GB Tratic / month). We host three websites and at the moment we use virtual interfaces. I plan to migrate the sites to a new server and I start thinking about what would be better: real or virtual NIC. The new server comes with two gigabit onboard nics. But I could also by a second nic with e.g. 4 extra ports.

What do you think? Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot and best regards!
