	Mount the file system as vfat and NOT msdos!  You're mounting
it as the
wrong FS type.  Vfat supports the MS hack for long file systems that
does not exist in the msdos file system.  They're the same basic file
system at heart but, if you mount it as msdos, you will only see the
raw
8.3 msdos file names and not the extended vfat filenames.
