Hey mates,

Is there anyway that I can make the gnome panels TOTALLY auto-hide? I mean when I set them to auto-hide, they don't clear the screen totally, instead they seem to leave a tiny trace [about 2-3 pixels wide] in their place... its like they don't really auto-hide, just move outside a bit...

So is there some way I can make them generate a full screen background with auto-hide?
